Dara Oney

Geoscientist

Dara Oney has over 15 years of experience in building and leading support teams in Exploration and Geoscience Technology. She has worked alongside Jeff Miller for 12 of these years and is viewed as a subject matter expert in log data management and best practices. For the past 9 years, Dara’s focus has been in petrophysical analysis workflows and multi-discipline data integration. As she continues in the study of petrophysics, her role as Geoscientist will support Oakspring in evaluation of exploration and development projects, identifying growth opportunities.

  • Assist Petrophysicist with routine analyses – normalization, run models, pay summations
  • Provided historical play knowledge, data forensics and subject matter expertise to Petrophysics and other disciplines
  • Manage corporate log data management team housed within the Geoscience Technology’s Petrophysics Group
  • Advise and share technical knowledge within Geoscience Technology, Exploration, and the Business Units
